Im sorry for your loss,This is terrible what the local farmer did to you. This happen to the Martins to.I talked my neighbor on my left this spring.I told her I would like to notified when any spraying is done by your lawn service. She looked at me like she just smelled dawg poop. She then replies.I will just cancel my lawn service this year and turned and walked away.Problem solved.Bubba sleeps good at night. No sign of any trucks this year.Talk to your neighbors ASAP!!

Holy crap! May your plants compost in peace and may you get all the bad issues sorted out (and good luck, best of health for the next season). Looks like there are quite many growers who suffer from stuff that doesn´t land on the correct leaves but travels around:

There is one photo in my diary. When the leaves first appeared to have a problem, I suspected, self-diagnosed and treated for nutrient deficiency. After seeing the photo, several growers emailed saying it was Roundup damage, which has been confirmed by John Taberna of Western Labs. Every vine tip of all seven plants were affected. It was suggested to wait, to see if any tertiary growth would come from the secondaries, but that didn't happen. The farmer sprayed Roundup on his corn, 50' from the side of the patch, and my next door neighbor's landscapers sprayed around and between a small grove of pine trees, that is 50' from the upper end of the patch.

My "party pumpkin plants" were planted after the sprayings. I had several of those backups still under grow lights. SO....I pulled the seven giants and planted 25 more party plants. And then, with the don't give up spirit, I did a silly thing and started three of my 1327 Rea's, which don't have much choice other than to grow orange pumpkins. I will see if I can get one to 500 lbs. by weighoff time, to be eligible for the HD contest. So there you have the whole story!!

I'm so sorry Glenna. It sucks to put so much into a season and lose it in one fell swoop due to no fault of your own.

Sorry to hear Glenna - your 1327 throws some beauties that are almost red in color. Tom

Sorry to hear that Nana. Your pictures did look like some sort of herbicide damage.
