As an outside grower and always dealing with something, I know how frustrating it can be at times with all the prep, hours and money spent. But always remember it's just pumpkins... and that's it. In 2011, I was complaining about a storm that came through and leveled half my plant. I later found out that was also the same storm system that wiped out the town of Joplin Missouri from an F5 tornado (other side of state) leaving 150+ dead. That puts things in perspective real fast.

I know the feeling. We dodged a big storm last night. Less than 20 miles west they got 4.5" in just a few hours. Creeks were still out of their banks at 5PM today. We got 2.5" and now the soil is saturated, with rain in the forecast for the next week. I hope we don't get anything big and the weather straightens out for all of us.
