Matt, If you see this, are there any plans for a winter time project? What buns would be in the oven? Best of luck to you, the last two years have been a blast watching your seasonal progress!

You should ask everyone what they would like to see, you would probably get 100 responces

I'd be interested to see who other than Matt and I are doing a winter project. Mine goes in right after Christmas, they will get germinated 2 weeks prior to the 26th, or this friday for the calendar watchers. :}

Pumpkin Growing Community-
I am happy to say that I do have a winter project in the works this winter season again! However, I have had to change locations and at the current site pictures are restricted but I will see what is possible. I am hopeful to upgrade the lighting compared to what I have had in the past, but time will tell on this.
Right now, I have the following genetics going with crosses still to be determined. As I have learned in the past, one cold night can completely change things but I have a plan that as of today still looks like it will be able to work…
1985 Miller ‘13 [2036 Glasier] clone 1916 Barron '14 (F: 2009 Wallace x M: 1730 Werner) 615 Cantrell '13 [1578* Holub] Squash clone 179.4 DeBacco '14 (F:335 Scherber ’11 x 1734.5 Steil) “Marshmallow”
I want to thank the growers for their support of my project by sending me plant material or filling my seed request during this busy season since timing is important to the overall success of this project.
Thanks for your interest a lot of work goes into making this happen!
*Fun Fact: Today marks 2058 continues days of pumpkin growing for me.

Keep us posted! After 15 years of growing, I'm just as anxious this winter as I ever have been.

Wixom, I have finalized my plan (I only have room for two plants, I have a wee little greenhouse) to growing my 817Bond (619 Glasgow:((2009x2009)) x 1546 Shenoha: (1421 Steltsx1381checkon)) crossed to 547Bond (308shewmaker:((220 debaccoxopen) x 619 Glasgow ((2009x2009)) Boy that was confusing. :} Lets try it this way: 817 Bond (619 Glasgow) x (1546 Shenoha) ((2009xself) x ((1421 steltsx1381checkon) x 547 Bond (308shewmaker x 619 Glasgow) ((220 Debaccoxopen) x ((2009xself)) Well, it's a tad clearer that way. :}

Awesome Conway! What are you growing? I found out today that a Selfed 2032 is headed my way....so I'm going to wait just a bit longer and cross one of those to my 817....if customs doesn't steal it....

Somewhere there is a customs agent who has some really good genetics with all the seeds they swipe over the years.

I have 6 2328 cuttings going in tissue culture as well as one small plant I am growing out and giving cytokines to produce more buds to culture. I will grow them out next spring to make crosses with. The rest I will give to the club to sell or donate as they wish. The cuttings came from the 2328 Chris grew this session
