Ok Ok I'll take what will it take for 1800. I can't afford a greenhouse seems to be what it will take for 2100

Can't wait to see how they work the old actors (Mark Hamill, Cari Fischer) into the plot.

It's cruel to start tweaking me a whole year in advance.

Get away from fantasy if you want to grow the real deal!!

You need to stock up on reality!!lol Not star wars!

Start running. A good number of the very top growers are endurance athletes or runners.

With my name you'd think the force would be with me. The force tends to be so strong it forces my pkn blossom walls apart each year before day 40. However, winter fishing is really picking up.... The force literally has the river Smallies jumping into my hands.

That's true Chris.

Most successful people in life do some type of work out 4 to 5 times a week.

At this point, I would be willing to settle for 1000#. I think the dark side of the force has been out to get me the last 3 years with drought, flood, hail and wind. Only 1 pumpkin in that time, and only 862#. Only my "light saber' shaped long gourds have been successful.

I don't think working out is going to help me. If that's all it takes, 7 years in a bulldozer factory and 30 years walking through muddy, hilly cornfields and chasing deer turkeys and fish on the weekends should have gotten me to at least 2000#. All it got me was arthritis, torn tendons and nerve damage. I think I have to start working smarter, not harder. That's why this website is the home page on my computer; to try to glean all the knowledge I can get.

Endurance exercise gives you something productive to do, as well as allowing you to think over what growing methods you would like to use in the patch without being overly hindered by exhaustion.

Endurance sports help keep your excitement & enthusiasm level in check when you have a real good one going. There is nothing like a 50 mile bike ride tp make you good and tired so you can sleep at night, rather than laying in bed awake all night thinking about your big pumpkin.
