Hi all you all have been like family to me over the years and right now I have been going through a tough time at college with things. They have gotten a lot better but Id love a little encouragement to keep pushing my goals and good grades while I research in my major of Horticulture.

sorry if this sounds silly but You all are so helpful and I greatly appreciate it! :)

Been there, done that, encouragement is always a big boost. Hang in there, keep your goals and the end state in mind. You can do it!

It has been a very long time since I was in college, but now I'm watching my son and daughter work their way through it. Don't be too hard on yourself; your biggest critic is probably you. Don't let anyone discourage you from pursuing your dreams. You seem to be very determined and I'm sure you will succeed.

Seems like we often go from one challenge to another and then in retrospect sometimes things look different. In the end you do your best and don't beat yourself up.Find your support where you want whether it's faith, family, friends and know there are or will be people out there who you are important to.

You can do it.
At times it will be overwhelming. But you can and will come up to the plate and hit a home run.
45 years from now you can look back and realize all the work was worth it.
Best wishes!

I graduated from college in 2010 with a major in agriculture. I know the feeling and what you are going through. Classes and exams are tough but you will pull through and things will work out. One thing that worked for me was to take a year or two off my most time consuming hobbies and dedicate that time to studying and getting through school. Its not easy but it will help. Keep pushing on and youll do great

Tanner always look and try to feel positive.
Don't say I think I can, say I KNOW I CAN
Tell yourself repeatedly you know you can do it.

You can do it! Stay positive, keep pushing! All those long nights studying will pay off. Oh yeah, when finals are over in December - drink some beer!

Romans 8:28 says that "All things work together for good, to those who love God" - keep the faith, God will bless you.

College is a grind. If you know in your heart that your major is what you want to do. Youll stay the course and succeed . All the best.

Tanner,
Relax, I agree with many here, you are your toughest critic. Work hard and do your best and everything will come around. Every ounce of effort you put into it now will be rewarded 100 fold in the future.

Here is one of my best motivations, and is posted at my desk at work.

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.

Calvin Coolidge "
