I don't place a stamp on anything. Even a letter I go to the post office, they throw the postage on and Bob's your uncle. I just received 7 bubbles back that were mailed two weeks ago for insufficient postage.......yeah

That happened to me one year. The post office puts the postage on and it's wrong. How could it be wrong if they did it? Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I know something about this. Take a small bubble envelope, put a pumpkin seed in it and the price goes from $1.10 to $3.70 to the U.S., and I cry foul. Yet, depending on who is working the counter, it could be either. International, same deal, either 2 bucks or near there or over 5 bucks. So, I have resolved to buy my stamps at the counter and stick them on elsewhere and throw in the mailbox, until they start coming back. Never heard about seeds getting crushed. But I do know you have to play their game or they will always win, because going to the post office is just like gamblin'.

Well I know the problem now. As of 2014, a standard bubble going from Canada to the US is considered a "light packet" and the new rate is $3.79. That same bubble costs $1.34 if mailed within Canada. That's about a $2.00 hike.
I ordered 100 smaller bubbles from e-bay, thinking the smaller ones would cost less, nope. Any bubble of any size starts out at $3.79 and goes from there.

I bought those ebay bubbles from China too. Learn pretty quick not to write on the flap-not much room on the front. They are pretty good deal all in all.Amazing how they send stuff from China thru the post so cheaply. I just received some semiconductors this morning and the postage was around 5 bucks , which must be top of the line because the lady delivered it right to my door and made me sign for them. I got 8 high amperage mosfets to fix an inverter for about 5 bucks and one would cost that much easily in Canada.

I had a bubble come from Canada to Mass $1.34 on it. To send the same back with a few seeds in it cost me $6.55. I have to send a bubble back to Japan this week can't wait to see what that one will cost.

I found if you throw stamps on a bubble & throw it in a mail box.If you dont write fragile on it.It will be processed through the rollers which chips the seeds.
If your sending seeds and you ask for the cheapest shipping rate. The cashier will send it through the rollers that chip & crack the seeds.I just received some seeds that were mailed for like 1.10 or close to that. The bubble wasnt marked fragile or non machinable.3 out of 6 seeds were chipped.
You gotta ask yourself? Do I feel lucky? Well do ya?Punk!lol Whats worth more a buck or 2.Or the seeds?
