I have been researching AG disease for about the last three years. I would like to get some feedback from growers in what is their particular disease to watch out for. When it started? What did you do for the disease? What worked? I'm especially interested in use of bio beneficials for disease prevention? What is your rotation plan if you have one? Use of a particular cover crop for the disease? How would you rate the disease as for ability to control or cure, difficulty to control etc.? ( Use a 0-10 rating scale 10 being the worst) Use the following list to choose from. This could be helpful to all. FUNGAL SOIL DISEASE Fusarium Pyhtium Phytophthora Rhizoctonia Sclerotinia sclerotiorum Thielaviopsis Root Rot Verticillium wilt
MILDEWS Powdery Mildew Downy Mildew
BACTERIAL DISEASES Angular Leaf Spot (Pseudomonas) Bacterial Leaf Spot (Xanthomonas) Bacterial Wilt (Erwinia tracheiphila) Cucurbit Yellow Vine Disease (CYVD)
FUNGAL LEAF DISEASES Alternaria Leaf Spot Anthracnose Gummy Stem Blight Plectosporium Blight (Microdochium Blight) Sclerotium rolfsii (Southern blight) Septoria Leaf Spot Target Spot Ulocladium cucurbitae
Please send to [email protected] or post here for learning purposes. Hope veteran/seasoned growers respond.

Yellow vine disease, absolutely terminal. Transmitted by squash bugs so use both a systemic and contact insecticide. Iv'e had some luck using Companion for fusarium.

Good response Ron. Companion (Bacillus subtilis) is labeled for Fusarium and has helped others. What systemics and contacts do you use? How did you apply the Companion?

Voodoo Juice has a lot of the same stuff as Companion plus more.
