Matt thats awesome you went and got to meet the Myth Busters.. I think If I went I would get obsessed and want to build one. A trebuchet, catapult with a big rack that could hold a couple 1500,1700 lbs pumpkins for the counterweight..
How cool would that be chuck a pumpkin with a pumpkin!

The Punkin Chunkin group has some similarities to us giant pumpkin growers in their dedication to the competition. The work that goes into researching the best design for each category is extensive and when you see them in action it is an amazing sight.
