Look at these two pictures. The first is the 1409, the second is the 2328.

They look remarkably the same, don't they? Does this mean that the 2328 is more 1409 dominant than 1725 Dominant? Thanks.

Ashton, sometimes people are inclined to see what they want to see, and I can also see some resemblance of the 1409 Miller in the 2328 Meier fruit. HOWEVER, look at the 1694 Meier from 2012
http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=192221
It also has some similarities with the 2328, but its genetics haven´t seen a 1409 Miller before, neither does it look like the 1789 Freak nor the 1725 Harp nor the 1810 Stevens.
Hence, the appearance of the 2328 Meier could be influenced by the 1409 Miller genetics, but could also be due to some features of the environment. Just imagine that some slightly different positioning of the baby pumpkin could have resulted in a different shape.
Also, it would be interesting to see a pic of the 1104 Wallace, it should give some hints as to which "dominance" the 1409 Miller genetics could have expressed in this pumpkin before it came to the next generation.

Oops, sorry, the 1694 was grown off a 934 Schieder seed and pollinated with the 1789 Wallace. Forget about the comparison of the 2328 with the 1694 as far as 1725 Harp genetics goes.

The meyer fruit didnt have sibs and the 1725 does. I agree with aston that the 2328 does resemble the miller fruit.Sibs= sucked in butt syndrome.

This shared shape can only be named "flat tire". Let´s sing together with Joni Mitchell: ... So hopeless and so inspired Why do you dream flat tires When you dream flat tires? ...

Please look at the diary of marley: he understands the signs of the times and presents the banana-lobster! That´s our aim: grow the banana group into lobster-AGs!

unfortunately when you think of who does not work and has lots of time on their hands? you have covered well over half of our adult population. personally, i think its a mentally ill person sitting in their mommies basement, sick of trying on moms cloths and just happened to find this site ----- or, its just amelio reincarnated.probably the latter. pap
