I'm thinking of crossing the 220Debacco into the 2009! a little early. Anyone have any cross idea's?

same here. I guess the vigour of the plant has a part in choosing the cross that you should make. If the 2009 and 220 are your most vigourous plants (i wouldnt be overly surprised) Then it would probably be best to cross them.

Hey Richard didn't you do 898 Knauss cross a few yrs ago?
I guess if you want your seed to relevant now it will have to have the 2009 in it somewhere.

Isn´t there a Triamble in 2009?
Ron Rahe, what do you think about my theory?

Richard, you already know many crosses, that I will try next year, but the best will be:
C. maxima `Potiron Blanc du Dauphine´ x two times selfed 922 Mohr 11 AG.
This 922 from Colorado fits to my climate north of the Alps, and the 922 has enough world class genetics to enhance the weight of this normally up to 70 lbs. growing edible french
fine food.
Let me say it in pumpolitically incorrect rallying cry:
"Do not grow greyish Wallace'Ron. Grow the creme-colored giant Potiron!"

Richard, triamble is a squash variety.

...pollinated by bees, bumblebee, cucumber beetle or many other insects, bats and birds altogether i summarizing call bee-pollinated.
Many growers think, they would pollinate infallible like a pope farts, but that doesn´t work so absolutely hither and yon.
Triamble is a blueish-grey C. maxima and very long storable.
Ripening duration is a month more as for most edible C. maxima, and so AGs profit from the longer growing season with Triamble genes. AG plants with Triamble dominant in it stay longer green and are able to produce far more pumpkin weight. Richard, if you want to self and self the 2009, you will not grow white but grey in the end.
But for a NWR the 2009 is the only option: this is Elias growing into the sky.
Please accept, Richard, that I do not grow so high.
But I will try to cross the C. maxima `Pink Banana´ with C. moschata Tanned Butter for a really big and sweet rocket.

Why don't you split Pumpkinlobster, half your time on growing a new variety of edible pumpkin and half to growing a heavy, giant! see if your agriculture know how can grow a giant pumpkin!

Back on topic, I'd like to see a cross between the 1610 and 1770.5 Liebers.
