To grow quadruple pumpkins (qp) is the sport to show the true genetical value of a plant.
With qp we get a practice-oriented weight:space-ratio, if we add the weight (lb) of all four fruits grown on a single plant and divide it through the space (sq ft) of foliage and fruits.
For averaging weight potential we only sum the best three fruits of a qp.

Oh Richard, you can tell the Afghan people, that they do not need their warlords and popy drugs anymore, cause we are able to grow pretty muckle pumpkins C. maxima AG x C. maxima Buttercup for industrial farming...we make pumpkin pie filling with Afghan spize then in new factories for Agrana and other companies. My best breeding C. maxima (AGxButtercup) weighs averaged 52 lbs. and therefore is named "B52 pumplobster"... since the ripe fruit turns from deep orange to red like a lobster in boiling water.

This is definitely not a better mousetrap and is a waste of time. The Golden Hubbard accomplished this task, even in color, decades ago.

I have hated the taste of pumpkin all my life. Probably is a waste of time to try to grow something for me to eat. Maybe if pumpkin could be crossed with mustard.....

No, Orangeneck, AGs are not so storable, AGs have only half the dmc (dry matter content) as against my AG-Butternut, ... and AGs are no fine food at all.

Yes Richard, we have to compete against many dangerous drugs, and so we need the help of the United Nations to entrench Murabe-e-Kadu not with this small white Afghan pumpkin but with our B52 pumplobster.
We can´t use the heirloom for industrial processing. But we can use the Afghan name for the jam with our B52:
figur Murakade instead of Murabe-e-Kadoo...
Our new word Murakade sounds a little like Marmadale.
Please talk about our new brand Murakade with your Afghan friends, Richard.
The flesh of the B52 is deep orange served as crudités, and it persists deep orange when cooked. But a pie filling always take on the color of the spices.
Only the skin of the B52 pumplobster turns from deep orange to lobster-red after-ripening. We might show such a fruit on the cover of pie-filling and Murakade.

Not decades! Two centuries ago this odd Golden Hubbard (1898) wasn´t better or more red then the older heirloom Boston Marrow. Not half the weight of my B52 you can reach with a Golden Hubbard.

That is one century actually, and that does equate to multiples of a decade. How many food processors have you found willing to handle several hundred pumpkins per day, with an average weight of 52 lbs?

Both sides of a transliterate copper feeding system. With the blockage of a very dubious situation. Unknown after ripening, the fumigation can be very literal as well.

So know what you doing under all situations.
