All,
http://tools.pumpkinfanatic.com is designed to be a community regulating web site. Anyone has the ability to make modifications to fruit if they see an error.
I have noticed that a few growers have uploaded photos of their pumpkins and their fellow grower's pumpkins. I would encourage anyone that has a photo that doesn't have a copyright, to upload that picture. I have heard several growers request a photo of a particular fruit and I am hoping when others come across pictures, they will upload them with the associated fruit. I have tried to make the process easy to add a photo to an existing fruit using the "Add/Modify Pumpkin" link on the right-hand side of the screen. Any help adding photos from any grower would be appreciated.
If there are queries/statistics that can be derived from the information on this web site that you would like to see , please let me know and I'll get them created and added for everyone to use.
If there are enhancements that you would like to see, please send me an email. [email protected].

It´s a great tool and helps to find heaps of information quite easily.
Just want to point out one thing I noticed, which is misleading in the current version of the data base, and this is the "Grew..." information. For example, in the details of the 1818.5 Bryson it is listed that it grew 2 larger than 1500 lbs. That is not true, because it grew the 1522 Sproule and it served as a pollinator for the production of the 1684.5 Delaney. Out of these two big babies, which now carry genetics of the 1818.5 in their seeds, the 1818.5 GREW only one (the 1522 sproule). Therefore, in order to provide growers with correct information as to which giants have been grown on plants of that seed, there should be two entries like "Grew larger than 1500" and "Was pollinator for pumpkins larger than 1500", because the latter does not depend on the genetics of the 1818.5, whereas the first does.

Andy, Could you add "Open" for a pollinated option. It keeps rejecting my change

Hi Pumpking,
I have made the adjustment you suggested. The first time you open the page, you will need to manually refresh your browser by pressing F5 so the border around the box looks correct. Let me know if you would like to see additional changes.

Hi Linus Van Pelt,
I have now added the ability to have "Open" as a pollinator. Thank you for the suggestion.
