Has anything big been grown off the 1811? I have one in my stock and am thinking about it for next year.

Carl correct me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure both the 940 King and 653 Ninja were both on the same plant which was in the 500 sq foot range. Both pumpkins were a beautiful orange

I wouldn't have believed it if i didn't see it with my own 2 eye's.The plant was at the most 500sqft.The 940 was on the main and not very far out,the 653 was on a secondary..which one i don;t know as the plant was not prunned or vines buried. As far as i could see only the stump fed these 2 kins. Both were a beautiful orange colour. If you want to grow the next BOMB get one of Jeff Warners 1192(13) 1811 Graham x 2009 Wallace.!!!!!!!!

Carl, that's a great thought on the 1811 X 2009. I had thought that I would try to get that seed. Now that I am a little more experienced I have been looking at the family trees on Pumpkin Fanatic. While on the subject of advancing that line, does anyone know if the 1674March 2010 seed is still available (great granddad of the 2032) ? The 1674 is the one non-common (1409.5 Miller 2010) grandparent of the 2032 and introduces genes that led to giants that aren't from the 1725. If that makes sense. It would seem that crossing that, as either pollinator or seed, to the 1192 woild have the potential of a great cross. Thoughts? Now I just need to know how to find those seeds.
Leines, if you go to Pumpkinfanatic.com you can type in the name or weight of the pumpkin you want and there is an option for "progeny".
