I know we have a great set of contenders here in WI (Glenn and Margaret) doing great, but who else is out there in contention and how are they doing?

Fred Ansems had a pretty good showing...at the AVGVG weigh off, he took 1st place in pumpkins, squash, long gourd, watermelon and field pumpkin!

Looks close between the Hunt's and the Glen's. Phil and Jane ahead of them in Squash, Pumpkin and Long Gourd. Glenn and Margaret ahead of the Hunt's in Tomato, Field Pumpkin and Watermelon. Fred is in the running and leading the Long Gourd category. Still have a few weigh-offs left... should be a good race.

Great post you beat me to it!!!!

I only glanced at the results so far but will say there is a major battle going on for this award.

Brian summed it up pretty good and would say it is to close to call between the Hunt's & the Glen's & Fred isn't far behind!!!!

If there are 10 people who enter.The biggest fruit gets 10 pts.The smallest gets 1 pt.This is repetitive for all 6 classes.You must be in at least 5 out of 6 to be entered.This is my understanding.If I'm wrong please correct me.
