CongratZ goes out to all those who participated in our 5th Annual GPC Weigh Off and Giant Veggie Contest. We had 29 entries this year.

Our first place $1500 winner

Andy Corbin of Wyoming with a new personal best of 1065 lbs. On his 1770 Lieber and was our Howard Dill winner as well, Nice fruit Andy. Purty and BIG!

Second place and $500 to Betsy Oppelt with Sister Margrett 856.6 on her 1730 Werner.

Third place and $250 to Mr Gary Shenfish with 855 lbs on his 2009 Wallace.

4th Place - Joe Scherber 748 on his Konkie- the 1338 Mckonkie

5th Place - The WiZ 735 lbs. Harpo II - 1725 Harp

6th Place - The BiZ 712.5 lbs - 1019 Grande The BiZ iZ back!

7th Place - Jamie Johnson 695 lbs. on Mt Elbert his 1775 Star.

8th Place - Calvin Wohlert 681.5 lbs on hid 786 Shenfish

9th Place - Andrew Park-Friend 637 lbs off his 1209 Hoffman

10th Place - Travis and Papa Mike - 563 lbs. off the 1487 ClementZ

Also WiZ took first place by .5 inches on his long gourd 99.5 inches, Field Pumpkin 97 pounds, 81 Wolf, 272.5 Green Squash....
Fantastic Turnout and Lots of new personal bests set.

Quite a few personnal bests.Top three pumpkins were all lookers.Andys pumpkin from his mini climate was impressive. And go shenfish!!!!

Good work, all. I don't believe most us know what it's like growing in the high country. If I didn't read accounts in diaries and on Facebook, I would be clueless, too.

Thank you everyone for the wonderful event! The RMGVG club puts a lot of time in to make these run smoothly. I know Gary (The Wiz), puts in endless hours organizing as well as other members.
