Noted a 10"long 1/4-1/2 deep horizontal skin split on a next to the bottom lobe of my remaining kin, along with some smaller splits at the bottom of the pumpkin.I cleaned with h2o2 solution, dusted with sulfur and put fans on.It will be in the 80's here for next 2 days and then rain coming.Had watered the kin last evening and I was going to put some foliar calcium tonite but am afraid that more watering and calcium will aggrevate the splits, but maybe she needs the calcium to strengthen her structure. What do you guys think?

With the weighoff just 4 days away, days getting shorter and growth slowing down, it probably is too late for any foliar application to do much to strengthen the pumpkin. If you had a couple weeks, maybe the calcium might help. I would just try to prevent rot and avoid anything that would make it split more. I hope it holds up for you. See you on Saturday.
