Hello, I had a good pumpkin going and I didn't get a chance to cover the plant last night and the cold killed the plant. I'm lacking 3 inches to meet my ott weight goal. Do you think it will grow without the leaves or should I pull it. Now that the leaves are gone it is obvious that there is a monster out in the patch. Before the leaves and my camo blanket hid it well. This is next to a main road and I'm worried that some snot nose kid will take a bat to it.... Thanks for any advice.

A hail storm destroyed my leave last year but my pumpkin still kept growing after.

It will continue to grow, but eventually the plant will shut down. I totally understand being paranoid too, and wanting to hide it. Your call.
