Rot is on stem near vine. Any way to repair? Do I cut the fruit off? 650+ side vine pumpkin. Still yellow just starting to turn color. Stopped growing 5 days ago.

trim off the stem rot, apply sulfer dust,blow dry the area with a hair drier on low setting.keep the spem dry at all times.

Cut out the rot found one SVB. Applied sulphurand dried. Under side of the stem. Probably the only place that was not covered with insecticide.

i used peroxide on mine too. worked really well after a few applications.
