As most growers are aware the Wallace’s did not grow this season, having said that we need 20 pumpkins 900 pounds and up for events we have previously supplied in the states of RI, NY and CT. The pay rate is very competitive and you get your seeds back. I have been working with the carvers and organizers of these shows for the past 10-years and they take a lot of pride in their work and know how much we the growers need the seeds for future advances within the hobby. For further information please email me [email protected] Delivery dates for events vary from late September to the third week of October. Best of luck to all growers the rest of the way!

There have been a lot of splits this year. I am guessing this will make the people who have a pumpkin for the weigh off over 900 lbs feel that their pumpkins are a little bit more valuable than normal. I personally don't have any pumpkins to give but I would have been happy to donate one. I will ask some Ca growers but they are probably too far away to get a reasonable shipping price. I am really excited to see a wr greenie out of the Wallace patch!

If I can help from Utah I will. Shipping won't be much better than Cali. My wife and I are also taking a season off preparing for 2014. This was our 7th yr the year we rest. :) grow big, row fast, drop hard.

Farming- a bunch of catastrophies that result in a lifestyle

Not advertising myself at all here, but I ship pallets constantly through work (LTL). If some one needs a shipping rate or help let me know. Mine are not near big enough to meet 900 pounds, but I have experiencing shipping my own 100's of miles to my own customers undamaged using my carriers. Very reasonable too because we ship so much freight all year long with them.

we would not be interested in shipping cross country. no money in it for any of us if we did that.
