I have been seeing things in the message boards all summer that Tom was not getting back to people and now it appears that the website has disappeared from the web. Is the extreme pumpkin store out of business?

I myself have checked the site everyday for the last week and I can't get on the site either.

I can't get on either. It doesn't look good at this point. Maybe someone closer to Tom can fill us in. I know he's losing lots of business right now. We hope everything is okay with them.

The website will be back up by tomorrow, the folks in charge of the data center tell me that they had a server crash.
I did have health issues, this is not related.
Thanks,
Tom

I want to thank all of you for your kind words, and clarify a few things.
Last fall I started to feel ill, as time progressed, it only got worse and after more doctor appointments and tests, doctors identified a few health issues that apparently I had been ignoring for some time.

The "cures" were almost as bad as the issues, and to be honest, my wife and children were running the business for me, there was a lack of replies to email and phone calls, it isn't the way I wanted things to run, I was doing the best that I could. I tried to keep my personal life personal, but I feel that I owe you all an explanation.

Fast forward to Today.... I am fine now, the business is going to be run the way it had in the past.

I want to thank my wife and kids for doing all that they did, and to everyone that placed orders and showed their support, without it, we wouldn't be here today.

The website will be up and running this evening, I'm having it moved to a new server -let's hope that redundant back up means just that this time.

I apologize for any inconvenience.
Respectfully,

Tom

Thanks for the explanation, Tom. You let me know about your health problems some time ago, but I kept my mouth shut to curtail rumors and negativity.

My heartfelt thanks to your family and anyone else who helped keep the business running while you were recuperating.

Here's hoping you are lean, mean, and keeping your garden green the next time I see you.

Tom, you are number one, take care of your self and family, the rest of us can wait. Pumpkins are not that important, really they are not.

We are back up and running, if there is anything that seems a bit odd, email me and let me know, the data recovery/backup was a little bumpy.
