I have a svb hole in pumpkin stem and was wondering if I should cut deep into stem to try to find and remove it or just leave it alone until weighoff.

If you have access to needles and you know where the SVB is in the stem, you could try injecting a little insectide into the stem to kill it off instead of doing surgery on it. It worked for me, goodluck

I did the same as farmergal, but used mixture of systemic and malathion. Work the hole a little bigger and fill it up. I also used a probe from dissection kit to pull them out. good luck.
