hi everybody, its my first year at growing these awesome giants and always looking for more great advice, i have read about wiping pumpkins down with bleach, how does it help,and at what mixing ratio...thanks

I've never use anything and been growing since 2002.Never had a bad pumpkin.

i think most use a 9 to 1 ratio- 1 part bleach 9 parts water . that's the mix rate I use in a spray bottle , then spray and wipe dry with bounty basic paper towels...once a week if im not busy or lazy

hi bunton bleach mix at ten percent great friend to kin grower against soft spots, sulfer powder another thing youll want to get. been growing for years and never lost one to soft spot or rot.
