Is anyone enclosing their whole plants at night as Steve Connolly did for his 1568?
I know it's a whole lot of extra work, but I have a fruit still chugging along at 24 lbs/day.
I'm thinking of a simple hoop house made of pvc and row fabric, up for the night, and down for the day, still keeping the fruit protected from sun by a sheet.

I tried with plastic, tarps and blankets layered and took off during the day, but day temps were cold and dropped soil temps. into high 60's-low 70's. If I had row cover id have left it on all the time as it should raise temps a few degrees and keep temps a few degrees warmer at night. if nights are cold cover it with something else and put heater inside. I was able to keep my temp. by kin at bout 20 degrees warmer than outside temps. at night. good luck

I did PVC and fabric a few years back- works great but make sure it is strong. Mine ended up in my neighbors yard after 30 mph winds. He wasn't too impressed with me,lol!
