my pumpkin is growing at 11 lbs a day and it looks like its starting to crack around stem how can i help prevent cracks or help them? (salt and a fan idk) :?

Sulfur on crack. Make sure vine is supported so no stress is placed upon it. Fan 24/7. If there is NO chance of rain, expose stem to sun.
NO SALT OF ANY KIND!!!

I had a weeping spot on my 912 stem 2 years ago. I following the directions in my previous post and rode my fruit to the weigh off and a personal best.
