Subject: Pruning secondaries

I just cut all my secondary vines that extended into my yard and the ones hanging over a fence. I assume with no good soil to pull from, the extra energy going to those vines would now be passed on to fruit. yes or no? Thanks.

annamarie,I think yes on pruning those off.If you have less than 200sq. feet for that plant you might want to let some go.
