I have a crack in a pumpkin at stem end . read about fixing with caulking and bleed spot material what exactly is bleed spot material and how do I get it please??

Is it into the cavity? Or is it just on the surface. If it is surface a good fungicide will do the trick. If it is in the cavity most likely that pumpkin is done

just on surface mostly but it is thru it in a small place
