My goal is one pumpkin per plant, and I want that one pumpkin on the main vine.
I have grown two on one plant before and I one on the main vine and another on a secondary vine about 20 or so feet away. Not sure if this is the 'best' method but this is what I have done.
Main vine pumpkin = 770 pounds Secondary vine pumpkin = 460 pounds
