has anyone pollanted ther pumpkin and have the blossem end turn blood red ,looked on screch no ifo came up. uploaded pic in dairy.

WOW!!! This is only my third season, and I have had blossom rot from keeping it enclosed too long after I pollinated, but RED? Whew!!! Can't wait to see who answers that one!!! But good luck. Always learning from growers!

very wierd .open up 2 more on 2 diffent pumpkin plants and the male pollen turned red .

Never have seen that, I doubt it's the hot weather or others down south would have seen that. Are you eating hot dogs or chicken nuggets when working the patch? lol

I had a blossom turn red, but it was starting to rot. Did you find any thing out?

been usin the same cloromine city water for 3 years now ,no eating in the patch luke ,lol,they all did rot on me ,even the flied pumpkin blossem end turned red ,the new pollanted one seem to be normal. just pollant one today,iam thinking it might be a comanation of all ,we had one humind hott week .temp are back to noral.
