Subject: Blossom end rot

The kin I pollinated about 4 days ago appears to have a rotted blossom end. It was covered...no moisture. What causes that? Could it still be viable? What about other fruits on same vine? Thanks.

Sounds like the pollination never caught. It happens. All other fruit will be ok.

OK...found another reply in New Grower's forum. Do not keep blossom end tied up long after pollinated (which I did). It can turn slimy and can rot...which mine did!!!! Always and forever learning!! And thanks monsterdog!!!!
