The past few years I haven't had the time or space to grow AG's, but I lived through your diary. It just looks like you have so much fun with it. I've missed your diary entries this season. I hope all is well, and your just super busy.

How nice to be missed! My season started out like everyone elses....high hopes of a great big pumpkin. Things became hectic with our business....then a health issue jumped in the way, followed by my back deciding to get in on the action. Just when I thought the best thing would be to have someone pull the plants, so I didn't have to watch them go untended, reinforcements came rolling in! My grandkids, nieces & nephews got a crash course in plant growth, pruning, vine burying...they already knew about the weeds! They have been totally wonderful! I am feeling much better, and will be able to do the spraying.
So hopefully TEAM REA will have something to take to the Canfield weighoff. I'll get the diary going again and back to the fun and the 1725 that isn't pollinated yet! Thanks so much for thinking of me....Glenna

Same here; before I decided to grow something this season, I looked through almost every year of your previous diaries and enjoyed them immensely! Learned a lot and wished I'd had a relative who grew several hundred pound prizewinners for everyone :D.

Glenna, you have been missed. I'm so glad to hear you on the mend. That's one thing I love about your diary, how all the grandkids get involved. I feel I've watched them all grow up.
It sort of reminded me of how involved the Zunino children were a few years ago growing with there dad. I always looked forward to what they named the pumpkins they were growing

Yep, good to see the kids involved! Someone else on BP, can't remember who, has some great kids, photo cleaning the tiller, holding large grubs etc, sure you know who you are.
Glad your on the mend Glenna. Did you manage to get some Bonbon growing?

Great post cuz I too was hoping for the best during the silence. Great to hear of your support crew pitching and getting their hands into this crazy hobby of ours Nana! Sorry to hear of health issues and hope for a speedy recovery....and hope you set that 1725!
Your diary has always been one of my favorites and have learned a lot about pumpkins and life from your posts. Wish you good health and big pumpkins. Take care, Shazzy.
