Recently I pollinated a pumpkin 12 feet out. The pollination seemed to have take. While checking the young fruit out this morning i noticed thr blossom end had a small split in it. Ive been yold that this is usually a sign of impending . Anyone else have this issue. The fruit is about the size of a golf ball and besides the small split it seems to be healthy. Any thoughts on this.I have another fruit thats gonna be teady for pollination in about3 days and will certainly will make every effort on that one.

It happens often around the blossom scar, it isn't an issue
