sooooooooooooooo----no more trying to be number one on the aggc charts? not a big deal.records dont grow giant winning pumpkins-people do. while we do need some info about seed parents i believe its even more important to know how to grow the seeds you have choosen to plant. besides you have the GPC weigh-off records you can always review parents with.

So is all that info just lost? So selfish.

...especially the info of sqft per plant, which was very interesting stuff, isn´t available now. Even though there are so many pumpkins listed on the pumpkinfanatic site, only a very very low percentage of the entries contain the sqft info. It´s a pity, indeed.

poll date, pics of kins, date set out, feet on the vine, average temps, desease levels, average precip, grown where?,how many lobes,These are only a few very important things the AGGC site had to offer.A great pumpkin growing site has definetely been lost. The information was endless and i think many growers already miss it.

Can´t understand why it had to go. Even though there might have been maintenance problems (no updates with 2012 data), it would have been great if the old data sets were still available.

Are we sure it’s gone for good ? It might just be down to get the porn off that was on there.

I can add additional fields for data entry to the tools.pumpkinfanatic.com site and any grower can continue to keep their information current. Are there other fields that growers would like to track besides sq ft. the plant was grown in? I know Steve Geddes completed the soil and environment information section on the giant he grew last year. It's nice to have this information to compare against your owns soil/environment.

Are there in the meantime some new info`s about the aggc...?
An idea here between some german growers is, that the gpc could take over the aggc to carry on it.
..or is this databank definitive lost...??
