My first set pumpkin, set about 30 hours ago is starting to worry me. I expected the female blossom to start to wilt within a day or so of pollination. At 30 hours strong after pollination The female blossom looks like it is still receptive to pollen, being that the blossom isnt wilted at all. Is the pumpkin alright? Did I do somthing wrong? Thanks.

Chill. 30 hrs is way too early to be stressing about whether it took or not. Who gives a crap what the flower looks like anyway? lol Keep an eye on the pumpkin. Shinny skin is good. Dull is bad. :-)

I have generally found it takes between 5-10 days to tell if the pumpkin has set or not. You can't tell anything at 30 hours.
