my plants are just starting to put out main vain but slow go. what can I do to kick them in gear .first year at it .am I wanting to much to fast ? water .mist. or just wait.

As a first year grower myself, who loved too much early and probably did more harm then good, my advice. If they look healthy just wait.

To much love will kill them. If you have your soil right you need to wait.

When did you start your seed? If it was back in April then you could consider a small touch of nitrogen (i.e. blood meal or liquid fish). But like everyone else said, slow and steady wins the race.

Tom Privitera recommended I use a cocktail of 2 oz,Companion, 1 oz Essential, and 1 oz Starter per gallon of water to give my plants a kick in the pants. My plants increased in size 3 fold in the first week, and 2 weeks after the cocktail, they are running a foot a day.
I also diluted the mixture and did a foliar spray as well.
