This has stymied me for a couple decades now.How come when your dog is sick you take it to a Veterinarian? So why when my pumpkins sick, I dont call a Vegetarian???

The simple answer is, it was your decision you didn´t call a Vegetarian (even though you could have done that). A more complex answer would include you had already considered calling a Vegetarian, but there was none of them available (...it´s more complex because of the further questions such as the responsibility for the loss of the pumpkin in this case, and therefore we better stick with the simple answer). A third answer could be, you already wanted to call all possible Vegetarians, but then you noticed that the diet of pumpkins might contain traces of fish (which isn´t too bad) and things like blood and bone meal, and therefore the Vegetarians would refuse any proper treatment.

It is not now important what you have considered for years. The present reality is that due to pea brained changes of the health care delivery system, a vegetarian is now allowed to leave your pumpkin in the waiting room for eight hours to stew.
