If I recall, it might mean the pumpkin will have deep ribs or it's a Celtics fan.

Mr Yardman; I grew a 1028 Geiger a couple years back; the females all looked like green stripe watermelons' the pumpkin came out a pretty orange it fooled me. cause I thought it was gonna come out looken like a squash it didn't!!!

Luke there is one on the vine that has green stripes& ¼" ribs & it just pollinated yesterday.& if it aint TNorange its geting culled lol Old rookie ,brotherdave sounds good. I read brotherdaves diary & seen a sumn bout it so made me wonder if it would help or hurt having a little sqaush gene in it

Most of the ones I've had green stripes on ended up brilliant orange!

Definitely a good sign for orange, unless you have mosaic virus.
