with all the talk of cover crop grown out before the plant..i was wondering if the 2009 and the 1842 was grown %100 organically or with massive amounts of chemicals???

According to Ron Wallace(December 2012 SNGPG newsletter) biological disease controls started in May, chemical/biological rotation started in mid-June, chemical controls (only) late July to mid-August.

Warrior T and Merit were used to control insects.

So it looks like the 2009 and 1842 were grown 40% organic, 60% chemical(my rough estimation)based on article info.
