reminds me of what my sticks did to leaves when it was windy, and it looks like a bird is trying to tell you something.

Im gonna guess birds ? Maybe they were hungry, ate, and said "thank you" by leaving some gifts on your leaves.

You use sticks to brace Darren? from looking at the leaf the 2 major holes are directly across from each other and about the same distance from the edge. Looks like it got poked when it was small and as it grew that's what happened.

just like Huff said Darren...watch the stick placement and i don't like the powder on the leaves:( Some powder will will eat through a leaf just for somethiong to do.

Thanks for the replies, the varmint is the elusive bamboo stick bug.
lol I always say I'm my plants worst bug. Note to self use longer sticks.
