I have been held up on leasing some land and therefore delayed in ordering seeds. I have ordered from Harris the past three years but due to my late order they are sold out of several of my best sellers. Does anyone use Ouststanding Seed Company LLC? They look to have great quality, but I have no knowledge of them. Any help would be great.

This year other than AG seeds we have planted Irish Eyes, Renee'sGarden and either Mong Woo or Hungnong (i cant find the red leaf seed package that she used). I am an equal opportunity seed buyer.

What varieties? I have some in the freezer from Harris that won't get planted this year. Also have some Knuckle Head from Siegers

My best sellers are the larger varieties. I had been growing Howden Biggie as my main larger pumpkin. However, Harris is sold out of the F1 seed in the Howden Biggie. I can across Outstanding Seed Company today, and they seem to be on top of their game is resistance. That's what I pay the most attention too, because I have a fulltime day job. Anybody have any suggestions?

In my area 30-40lbs sell the best because I am one of the few producers of them. It's tough for me to move many 10-15 lb pumpkins because of walmart. Also I have a lot of luck with almost any novelty type I grow. Pretty much anything you can't get at walmart I can move them.

The Apogee from Outstanding Seeds did well for us last year. Their Summit variety is also another good one

Ya Apogee, Summit, and Everest all produce the pumpkins you are looking for. We have grown them for three years now and have been very happy with the pumpkins and our customers love the big pumpkins with the big stems

Of course Phat Jack (Siegers) has always produced 30-50 lb. pumpkins with great handles (my top seller).

Harris also has a new pumpkin called Cronus which is 30-45 lbs. I saw the trial runs of it last year and it was very impressive - I don't believe it made the catalog this year but I was able to buy seeds a few months ago.

I also like Contestoga, Gold Rush and Gold Medal.

How does disease resistance with Oustanding compare to Harris. Also, how are the yields?
