Steven Connely for the big favor, See I was Had some big issues with seed germination this year.
It appears that the particular seed has some issues that I wasn't able to deal with not to mention my personal life had been in the compost pile. I called Steven Connely and asked if He had any back up plants that he wasn't useing. Within an hour he was contacting me willing to help. The drive to Steve's patch was well worth it. He had the plants that I needed for my line up. I arrived at the "WHITEHOUSE" and I saw the note on the door saying where the plants where. I gotta say I was a bit touched at the willingness to help a clod such as myself. Just wanna say thank you to all the growers and Directors of the SNGPG for really helping me as well as giving me advice not only with pumpkin growing but in life in general...Thanks all of you it means more to me then you know!!! It really is great to have such great people in your corner willing to help in times of need. In spite of the disapointments both in the patch and personally I know I always have good people who want me to give my best no matter what life brings at me...thamks Steven and thanks to all the SNGPG DIRECTORS!!!

I remember the story of Ron Wallace sending Don Young a plant via express mail when Don had problems. I believe Don grew a 1600 plus pound behemoth from that plant.
