I've read about some of the benefits from using potassium sulfate vs potassium chloride and wanted to try it on some corn ground. I asked several fertilizer outlets with large networks to get a semi load (25 tons) and no one can get it. They used to be able to get it but they said there isnt any around now. I was wondering if this is a nation wide thing or can someone still get it somewhere else? I live in mn and can get it if it's not too far/expensive

I've heard that it is considered a controlled substance because it is used in bomb making. So homeland security monitors its sale very closely. 25 tons will probably be impossible to get ahold of

Potassium Sulfate. I can get however much you need shipped to Connecticut. From there is costly shipping out 50lb bags can be donrein you want. I know Minnesota is a far ride for direct pick up, but I a, working with a garm where I get all mine. Maybee we can work something out.

Sorry Spelling erorrs. Shipping 50lbs bag, the way it comes can be costly. But can be done if you are willing. I am buddied up with a fantastic local framer who may be able to find a way to cut down on you expenses. Only trouble is they deliever Ferts, Nutrientss once a month. They still owe me Calcium Nitrate from the last shipment, they messed up something that was so insignifactant I did not ever care, but thry ensured me it would be on the next shipment down my way. I forgot to metion they shipped me extra humic acid in the place of the calcium nitrate which was more expensive and they said forge about it, that they would just send me the calcium Nitrate fot free. I could had it delivered from a local source for $730 a ton a month ago but now they can't get. Fertilizer brokerage could have got it by the semi too a month ago but also can't get it now. 50 lb bags would most Likely be too expensive. the cheapest I've found it delivered was $70 a bag so that would be $70,000 for 25 ton vs the 18,000 I could have got it for a month ago. Plus 1000 bags is a lot of hand work. It seems someone doesn't want farmers to have Healthy soil. Probably so they can sell more fertilizer. I'm looking to spend less than $800/ton otherwise I'll have to use potassium chloride easily available anytime at 575/ton
