Does anyone do this? I came across this old discussion and had me wondering since I usually did so in the evening. This states stomates play no role in absorbtion. It would be much easier for me this year to foliar feed at night with a headlamp too. Just curious on opinions.

Luke, I don't foliar feed at night because it gets extra moisture on the leaves and I'm afraid of powdery mildew.

I would only do it after about 3 or 4 am.so the leaves are not wet all night long.

Good points. lol Handy, I hope not to be up then. My problem is I might not be able to work in the garden till 830 every night and vine burying will be first on the list.

I read that last year Steve,,, I think you posted it. All my foliar feeding were done in the evening when the little ones were in the tub.

That might just be the perfect time for you Luke:)

Thanks Steve, that says to spray when stomata are open. Hmmmmm..... I have read both now.

Wiz, morning won't be an option this year.

I guess really I was just hoping someone else did it at night with success. Time will tell.

I guess mother nature rains during all hours of the night. Billions of plants and trees have grown from the forming of our plant. So I don't see why now and then wouldn't hurt.

you could also try and pick breezy or windy nights so the leaves wouldn't stay wet for too long. just a thought!

Hey luke. Last season I foliar fed at night do to my work schedule. I fed at 7:30-8:00 pm and it definetely worked for me. I had a kin at 391OTT at day 47... I will definetly do it again. I just made sure it was a nice night, without to much humidity.

We always foliar in the evening, just as the sun is going down. Think about this, almost every night the dew cover the entire world for most of the night. Can't argue with mother nature.

I've foliar fed in the evenings at a similar time (8-9) Luke with no disease issues and the plants absorb it quickly enough that it wouldn't seem to be a problem. We have no humidity here so that may change things there for you.

Auston, I'll feed it at 10 here and just tell my plants they are on west coast time! lol

Thanks again.
