I'm a little slow sometimes,My wife laughed & said sometimes??LOL I like to keep an open mind and learn from others.I decided not to transplant my melons into bigger pots per Chris Kents recommendation that it slows the plant down & its hard on them.So I didnt realize that I would have to feed them more since seed starter mix is pretty void of nutrients.Duh! Hence the tall leggy plants. So I have started feeding them with some of the new products I have at half strength as to not overdo it.The first sign I saw that told me they were hungry was the true leaf coming out slow & lite pale green. The leaf was screaming"wheres my breakfast?? I was thinking they were leggy do to lites, but I think know its lack of food.Duh!So started feeding them more.I hope this helps others who might be going through the same thing about now.

I will prep sites today for melons with ground cables installed as I hope to break the Michigan State record this year.It may be hard to pick the best plants as they are small. But I will transplant the backups in bigger pots just in case. The 3 grafts are looking good and just about ready to be outside full time.I will plant melons this Saturday & have video up on site prepping & planting.2 traditional & 2 grafted. We will see which is better??

Good luck with these. If I have time I might try this with some of my tomato seeds.
