#3 Trusting a verbal weather forecast of cloudy and 50 degrees without looking at satellite for cloud cover and approaching fronts. Then off to work to see the morning clouds clearing and knowing the hoops were never vented. Toast!

Establish a goto guy or gal if no one home to vent them if needed in emergency. Sometimes its good to have some unemployed friends....lol.

I recall a post from maybe 2010, and someone said watch it if you have some drinks or go out the night before, then wake up and try working on the plants. I think it was one of those Illinois Budweiser drinkers.

trimming off the leafs with a knife around 20 day old pumpkin, only to drop knife after done. Yup, you guessed it. Pumpkin caught knife tip first and knife was standing up smiling at me in the fruit:)

Getting great ideas when you hear about milk and pumpkins. Injecting milk into vine with syringe. Hey, I was in high school. Roundup couldn't of killed it faster lol.
