Still don't have all branches picked up from last storm. Winter storm warning for tomorrow. 6-8 inches plus 40 mph winds. Last year we had 70-80 degree temps all through march and April this year we can't get above 40. It will be may before I will even think about tilling.

Suck it up Kevin. Last year at this time we were enjoying the same early spring only to have it blow up in our faces with the worst summer heat I can recall. None of my plants survived it. You will have a great season my friend. Patience is the key word here.

We have been getting rain instead of snow. Must be close to 7" for April so far. We have a chance of flurries Friday, then more rain next week. It looks like a repeat of 1993 and 2008.

Not much of a spring here either.
Finally getting into the 60's.
You say maybe May.
Seen snow in May here once. We got around a foot one night and it went up to 70 that day and it all melted.
What a muddy wet day that was.
Water and mud everywhere.

Still a good 1-2 feet of snow here. Its the first time since 1881 that it hasn't been over 50 by April 17 and won't be for another 10 days according to the forecast. I don't think it's been over 40 yet. My compost pile is still frozen hard as a rock. I'm hoping it goes from winter to summer soon.

We got another heavy rainfall last night. The puddle (lake) beside the garden is now @ a foot deep & is @ 1 acre in size. I'll have to rent a pump to get rid of it. It's suppose to rain later today & change over to snow for tonight & tomorrow. We sure hope that we'll get a couple weeks of dry weather soon. If not, then we might just take the season off.

Good luck,
Jane & Phil
