Will spring ever get here? The last 4 days we had 1.5 inches rain, 1.5 inches of freezing rain, then about 1 foot of snow. No electricity for 3 days now. About 45 degrees in the house. Stayed at a motel in Sioux Falls last night. Not sure where I am staying tonight. I love South Dakota weather!!

Calif weather??
Couple of days ago it rained with 80 miles an hour wind;
knocked down alot of big trees;
We barely had any rain the last couple of years
there talken about water rationing;
Alls not all that great where I am;

I feel bad for you all up north of us here. Hope things turn around for you all reeeeaaalll QUICK. OLD-ROOKIE, I saw on the U S AG Report this mornin where you all will see little or no rain again this year with compromise to ground water levels...tell someone out there they need to look into more reclamation of ground water, but it takes rain to even get that done, lol..Hang in there we'll hope for the best!! Linus...Checked out The Bakery Website..AWESOME, My parents ran their own bakery for years in Texas...I did alot of their Specialty Cake orders and Breads for them. Your wife does Very, Very Nice Work..wish my daughter n I were closer, lol. YUM, YUM!!! Hope the best for you taran2sabrina, hang in there, will pray for you all!!

Yeah, I don't miss cold winters and snow as much fun as they can be! Taran, I feel for you, reminds me I had better think about getting firewood for next year. - but today I am outside rototilling with my shirt off. Just ate some of the first asparagus and have some radishes and lettuce ready. But- Of course, here on the coast we don't get the heat in the summer either, I do miss that.
