On top of Brush Mountain, Pa.

I have not been growing pumpkins for awhile and have stuck with giant tomatoes. I was thinking of making a comeback in 2015. It will take that long to put my plan in place. I need a corporate sponsor with lots of money, someone like Ford Motor Company. I will need to have them supply me with a new fully equipped tractor and dump truck and maybe a backhoe. Also a plot of ground bigger and better than what I have now. I thought about buying the soil from The gardens of the best growers and trucking it here and growing in a raised garden. Also I am thinking like a walled in garden with a retractable top and heating and air conditioning and of course an automatic watering system that senses soil moisture levels and comes on 24/7 when necessary. In addition a system for spraying insecticides, fertilizers for foiliar feeding etc. in the form of a huge cloud will be required. A testing company will need to check the soil chemistry on at least a weekly basis. I intend to do three plants and will be buying the best seeds available. I would like to hire some of the best growers as advisors, weed pullers, pruners, vine burriers and, in general, garden workers. Also in a shaded area, maybe like a gazebo, I will be needing a lazy boy chair and a stocked refrigerator and maybe a TV set. I am planning to contact Ray Waterman to be my agent, my corporate recruiter and contact person for the corporate sponsor or sponsors that get on board. I have not yet asked Ray to act as my agent but I feel he will do it. Of course, he will also have to be paid as I want his full attention. So, look out Morgan Thompson and all for 2015 pumpkin season. Federal Express will be bringing my pumpkin to the weighoff if they have a big enough truck. Did I leave anything out?

Marv you're on the right track. Since you've got contracts with FedEx and Ford, I call first dibs on General Motors, Monsanto, and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. That way I can stay well fed while I drive my Chevy Truck with my monster huge GMO giant pumpkin to weigh-offs. You gotta look for sponsorship dollars wherever you can!
