Everyone has been asking, so now I am taking guesses at to what growers think my greenhouse- grown pumpkin, “Snowball,” might weigh. I will be having the official Team-Pumpkin certified weigh-in on Sunday around 11:30am EST, and I plan to be in the “Pumpkin Chat” chat room live during the event, so those that cannot attend can still feel as if they are part of the Team in some way.

Rules of the contest:
1. The goal is to guess the weight of Snowball to the tenth of a pound, as the scale that will be used will have this degree of accuracy.
2. Each grower is allowed only one guess, and the grower that is the closest will win a seed (if there are seeds in it) or $25.00 US if there are no seeds or a poor count.
3. In the event of a tie, the grower that does not go over the final weight will be deemed the winner
4. The first grower to state a particular weight will ‘own’ that weight, and any grower that posts the same weigh will not be recognized.
5. Only publically posted weights will be considered.
6. There is no guarantee of germination.
7. Deadline to submit your guess is Sunday, April 14th, 6:00am EST

-I will be posting an updated picture complete with the OTT and the estimated weight on Friday evening, if you want more information to go on.
