Good day all
I after a long struggle have managed to get some Kondor seed potatoes, and I am desperate for some growing advice. Can anyone pass on any words of wisdom. Any advice welcome, thank you

Read the chapter on giant potatoes in the new onlind giant vegetable book put together by Don Langevin. There is a lot of good stuff in there regarding the new world record giant potato written by the guy who grew it.

Oh, I got this one. Idaho baby!

You want to mound up some loose soil. You want to avoid stressing the plant, to delay blooming of flowers on the green plant as long as possible. How to do that, I don't know other than to keep the water as even as possible. Maybe a slight amount of shade cloth will help.

Woody,as Marv says Don Langevin's book has a chapter on how Peter Glazebrook broke the world record. You have the right variety.

Will you be bringing a giant potato to Malvern Woody? It's quite close to you.
