Yes you read right, Team-Pumpkin will be having an official weigh-in on April 14th, 2013 @ 11am. I have been growing a pumpkin in a greenhouse all winter that has been nicknamed “Snowball” (see my diary “Matt D.”) and I am inviting you to see it get officially weighed. Please, contact me for the exact location in Connecticut.

The actual harvest will occur at 11am so for those who want to attend if you could arrive around 10:45am for a brief meeting and then we will get underway with the weigh-in. All are welcome to attend (growers and non-growers) as there will be a light lunch provided, but please let me know how many you plan on bringing so the proper amount of food can be allocated. Also, if you want to bring something (ex. Cookies, soda, other) that would be appreciated.

The one thing I have enjoyed watching this winter is Matt`s diary. The trials and tribulations of growing a snowball.
I wish I could make the weigh-in being from Canada and since I was in some of the New England States last weekend I can`t wrong weekend.
But my guess is that Matt is going to be a proud new papa of a 106 Lbs pumpkin! Team-Pumpkin Rocks! Cheers.
